Dear Friends & Strangers,
Today I wanted to share with you all yet another pertinent piece of the puzzle in my physical and emotional healing journey. As of the past couple weeks, I have been totally 100% pain free, which genuinely feels like a miracle as I had been struggling with pretty debilitating physical pain for the past few decades, and especially the past few years. I suspect that it was a compounded issue of oxalate accumulation and candida overgrowth, which can often go hand-in-hand. I am genetically sensitive to oxalates, which is now documented in an Oxalic Acid test which I took a couple weeks ago. My score was 40.6, which is above the normal range, which is 3.6-38.0. This in spite of the fact that I have been on a very low oxalate diet for 2 years and taking calcium citrate with every meal for nearly the past year. This score indicates that I have mild hyperoxaluria. which is part of the answer to over 30 years of autoimmune issues, physical pain and suffering. I believe this is a result of my undermethylation, however, this is just my own little hypothesis. I was still suffering from some lingering physical pain, but I finally found a medical practitioner who listened to me and worked with me. After taking 2 doses of an anti fungal medication (with 72 hours in between doses) for 2 consecutive weeks, plus 10 days of steroid cream, all my symptoms have been alleviated. I am beyond elated to finally have answers to decades of mysterious issues. It is very important for people who are sensitive to oxalates to be aware of the link between oxalates and candida, which is why I was still suffering some lingering issues. Here is a good article on the topic: https://www.restorativemedcenter.com/blogs/candida-overgrowth-and-oxalate-production-the-overlooked-connection Over the holidays, I read another book that I very highly recommend called The Tao of Physics by Fritjof Capra. It was written 50 years ago, yet is still applicable and timely. Capra updated it with new information and discoveries, and he has also published numerous other books on related subjects. I decided to read it as my favorite meditation teacher mentioned that she was reading it and that she saw parallels between meditation and quantum physics, especially in regards to spaciousness. Capra compares quantum physics to Eastern mysticism and the tenets of Buddhism, Hinduism and Taoism, namely that everything is interrelated and cannot truly be broken down into separate, mechanical parts and particles. There are forces that are connecting every single thing, which some refer to as the life force, or subtle body energy, prana, Qi or also Christ. I could see many parallels with The Universal Christ by Richard Rohr. I believe that this perspective will become the dominant paradigm in the future, especially considering that our survival as a species depends upon cooperation and collaboration (versus domination). I am not quite sure that this will happen in my current existence or lifetime, but I am going to try my best to live the rest of my own life in such a way that is conscientious of the energy that I am contributing to the cosmic dance. Lastly, I have really been loving sound healing therapy, namely Solfeggio frequency tracks. The history of Solfeggio is quite interesting from what I have read. There is not much science behind it all, but I have noticed a calming, peaceful effect, which is what matters, even if it is placebo effect ;). My favorite composer is Aaron Hugh Bach on Insight Timer. My favorite tracks are for subscribers only, but it its well worth 60 bucks for a year. The meditations and sound therapy on Insight Timer are probably better than any talk therapy that I have ever done, and it is significantly cheaper and more accessible. I very highly recommend.
